Es un cementario nacional construido en el año 1976, destinado a los coreanos que residen en el extranjero. Es decir, aquellos coreanos que estén residiendo en el exterior, pero que desean ser enterrados en su patria natal después de la muerte, podrán descansar en este cementerio. Además de los sepulcros, encontrará cenotafios y monumentos funerarios de los sacrificados en el atentado terrorista del avión KAL, compatriotas coreanos de Japón, etc., por lo que el día 2 de octubre de cada año también se realizan ceremonias conmemorativas.
