Situé en face de la gare ferroviaire de Busan, le quartier a été baptisée « quartier de Shanghai ». Jumelée à la ville chinoise en 1884, la ville de Busan a d’abord inauguré une école chinoise dans ce quartier, puis un consulat la même année, elle y a également créé un secteur résidentiel réservé aux ressortissants chinois.

Dans ce quartier de style chinois, le monument principal est « la porte de Shanghai » construite communément par les deux villes jumelées. Avec ses nombreux restaurants et magasins chinois, ce quartier est connu non seulement par les touristes coréens, mais aussi par les chinois et le public international en général.

Eglise Catholique de Jukseong (Studio de tournage du drama 'Dream') (죽성성당(드림세트장))

Située à Jukseong-ri dans la ville de Busan, la cathédrale de Jukseong a été construite comme plateau de tournage pour la série SBS « Dream » (2009). À l'inverse de la série, diffusée il y a longtemps, le studio à l'architecture remarquable est devenu un site touristique incontournable prisé des visiteurs de l'arrondissement de Gijang. La cathédrale est actuellement utilisée comme une galerie d'art.

Elle se distingue par son atmosphère unique permise par son emplacement dans un petit village de pêcheurs. Le cadre qui ressemble à un village du Moyen Âge en bord de mer est particulièrement pittoresque. On trouve sur place un spot photo qui ressemble à un grand cadre photos devant lequel les gens font la queue pour prendre des photos. Le bleu de la mer et du ciel dans le cadre constitue un arrière-plan magnifique.

La route Choryang Ibagu, située aux alentours de la gare de Busan, abritait autrefois un ensemble de maisons en haut de la rue lorsque le secteur était encore pauvre.
