La Vieille Maison Gansong est une maison traditionnelle de plus de 100 ans qui conserve les traces de Gansong, qui a grandement contribué à la protection de notre patrimoine culturel. Elle est située à proximité de la tombe de Gansong Jeon Hyung-pil (1906-1962). La maison a été construite à la fin du 19e siècle par son beau-père Jeon Myeong-gi (1870-1919) dans le but de gérer les récoltes provenant des fermes environnantes et du nord de Gyeonggi et de la province de Hwanghae. Après le décès de son père, elle a été utilisée pour conserver les objets nécessaires aux rituels, et lorsque le temps était mauvais, les cérémonies étaient également effectuées sur le maru (espace central parqueté utilisé à des fins multiples) de la maison traditionnelle coréenne, Hanok. Gansong venait souvent ici pour vivre lors de ses visites à la ferme de Yangju-gun ou lors des rituels pour son père. Pendant la guerre de Corée, la porte et une partie du mur ainsi que le bâtiment ont subi des dommages. Après la guerre, en raison de la reconstruction de la maison familiale à Jongno et du Bohwagak, les réparations ici ont été retardées. En 1962, après le décès de Gansong, des matériaux provenant de la démolition de la maison familiale à Jongno ont été utilisés pour effectuer des réparations partielles.
