El puente peatonal Geumgang, un nuevo lugar emblemático de la ciudad de Sejong, fue inaugurado en marzo de 2022. Es el primer puente de dos pisos en Corea, y al disponer de un diseño circular a gran escala, proporciona varias áreas para actividades. El templo Magoksa fue fundado por el monje Jajangyulsa en el año 640, y es un templo representativo del área de Chungnam. El templo Magoksa está rodeado de montañas y ríos que dibujan curvas de la forma del símbolo del yin-yang. Quizá se deba a ello el hecho de que este templo no sufrió daño alguno durante las principales guerras habidas durante el Período de Joseon (1392-1910). Así como el templo es famoso, lo es también las inmediaciones por la belleza de las montañas circundantes. Especialmente bonita es el área de los rededores del monte Taehwasan, donde el arroyo Taegeukcheon fluye en la forma del yin-yang. Es la zona más bella en la primavera cuando las flores de cerezo, el sansuyu (una especie de cornejo que crece en Corea) y las magnolias cubren toda el área. Lo que atrapa la atención dentro del templo Magoksa es la pagoda de piedra Ocheung y el enebro chino del que se dice que fue plantado por el maestro Kim Gu (un político coreano y activista para la independencia nacional). El tope de la pagoda de piedra Ocheung está decorado con bronce. Este estilo es el resultado de la influencia recibida de la rama tibetana del budismo lamaísta, y se dice que solo quedan en el mundo tres estructuras como esta. Además, los edificios de Daegwangbojeon y Geungnakgyo son muy bellos también.
