Huin-yeoul Coastal Tunnel was formed in December 2018 to help the elderly and the infirm walk smoothly without going through the steep stair section between the piano stairs and wave square near Jeoryeonghaean Coastal Trail. The 70 meter tunnel not only give easy walking route, there's also a photo zone, lightings and more for visitors to enjoy. The lights within the tunnel are lit from 09:00 to 23:00.

Visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of the ocean and also go on a stroll by walking down the wooden deck to the Joryeong Coastal Walking Trail. The ocean below the observatory is a popular snokelling area and it is only a 20-minute walk to a pebble beach. Huinnyeoul Culture Village is also connected to the observatory for easy access to one of the more popular attractions of Busan. The observatory is also known for being a beautiful sunset spot.

Sarangbang is a grilled seafood restaurant located in Taejongdae. The upstairs has an outdoor seating designed like a food stall.
