Soyang Dam (소양강댐)

Built in October 1973, Soyang Dam is the largest dam in Korea. It stands 123 meters high and 530 meters long and can hold up to 29 million tons of water. The stored water which has become Soyangho Lake, is Korea's largest man-made lake, spanning a large area that borders the Gangwon-do cities and districts of Chuncheon, Hongcheon, Yanggu, and Inje. Visitors can enjoy riding a ferry or walking on the 2.5-kilometer walking trail. Various restaurants and attractions are also nearby.

Alpaca World (알파카월드)

Alpaca World is located in the clean, green forests of Hongcheon, Gangwon State, and is an alpaca-themed travel destination where one can meet animals enjoying natural lives up close. There are about 50 cute alpacas in the Andes Eco range, a replica of the mountainous terrain of the Andes in South America. The Relaxing stroll with Alpacas program is one of Alpaca World's representative experiences where visitors can take a walk and interact with alpacas in the green forest. Also, there is an Alpaca Playground, where guests can interact with alpacas in a square with a large lawn, and a Birds' Garden, which makes one feel like they have entered a fairy tale world the moment the door is opened. d.forest is the largest dog park in Korea at approximately 99,173 ㎡. It has various attractions to enjoy, together with visitor's pet dog, including museum, walking trails, playground and more. Various walking trail courses are available with age and physical condition of the dog in mind. A large and small playground where dogs can play without leashes are available as well as a cafe with drinks for dogs, market and more.

Gangchon Rail Park Gyeonggang Railbike (강촌레일파크경강레일바이크)

Gangchon Rail Park Gyeonggang Railbike is a leisure sport facility located in the area around the previous Gyeonggang Station. The railbike course stretches for 8 kilometers from the old red brick station through forests and across the Bukhangang River before returning to Gyeonggang Station. The full course takes around 1 hour to complete and operates in 1 hour 30 minute intervals. A key point to this railbike is that they offer pet bikes as well, something not found at other railbike locations throughout Korea.

Gapyeong Hyeonam Agricultural Heritage Museum (가평현암농경유물박물관)
