Located in Banditbul Village, Seorak-myeon, Gapyeong-gun, Bandi Village is a pool villa pension for pet dogs. There six guest rooms with two stories, including a spacious living room, kitchen, and dining room on the first floor and a bedroom on the second floor. Yangpyeong Icefish Festival takes place in Soomy Village from late-December to early-February. Residents are preparing for the festival to welcome all visitors including families, couples, groups and others. During the festival, visitors can eat warm fish cakes and roasted chestnuts. Aside from ice fishing, other traditional winter games and activities such as kite-flying, top spinning, sledding and jjinbbang-making (steamed bun with red bean filling) will be available.

During lunch, tteokguk (sliced rice cake soup), bingeohoe muchim (seasoned raw smelt salad) and bingeo twigim (deep-fried smelt) are available at the Women's Society of Soomy Land. One special trait of this festival is the offer of an all-inclusive experience package. After making a reservation, families can enjoy a full day of fun experiences from the moment they arrive until the time they head home with no additional fees to worry about.

Yangpyeong Icefish Festival can be enjoyed by visitors of all ages: Children will look up to their fathers’ as strong men, pulling their sleds around the snow-covered ice; couples will look back on the festival as a warm winter memory, walking hand in hand; friends and coworkers will remember the delicious food and joyful time they spent together.

Sujongsa Temple is a branch temple of Bongseonsa Temple, located near the top of Ungilsan Mountain. Amazing views from Sujongsa Temple include various mountaintops and the Bukhangang River. While records are not entirely clear, it is believed that the temple was built in 1439 during the Joseon period. The temple went through many reconstructions and expansions, but ultimately was entirely destroyed during the Korean War. In 1975, Monk Hyegwang began reconstructing the temple, starting with Daeungbojeon Hall and slowly expanded the temple site subsequently.

Icheon has emerged as a new spring destination thanks to the large colony of sansuyu trees in Baeksa-myeon. The path from downtown Icheon to Yeongwonsa Temple, located on Wonjeonksan Mountain, is lined on both sides with these beautiful yellow trees.

The village is a quiet place, with a narrow road just wide enough for two cars, and a peaceful stream running off to the side. However, every spring, the village is awakened by the many photographers and tourists who visit. The second most-visited season is autumn, when the sansuyu trees fill out with bright red berries.

Hwado Pureunmul Center Pianopokpo Falls (화도푸른물센터 피아노폭포)

Located within the Hwado Pureunmul Center, the 61-meter tall Pianopokpo Falls is an artificial waterfall. It is constructed with a steel frame and an artificial rock structure to mimic a cliff-like appearance. The waterfall operates by pumping water discharged from the sewage treatment plant, creating a cascading flow. Opposite the falls stands a building shaped like a piano, which has won the "Beautiful Restroom" grand prize. Additionally, an ecological park has been developed in front of the waterfall, offering a pleasant walking experience.

Lemongrass Pension is a private pension nestled next to a clean stream at the foot of Sorisan Mountain in Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi-do Province. The host lives on the premises to keep the facilities clean and offers friendly services. All five guest rooms are private two-story buildings, which come in difference sizes for groups of two, four, six, and eight guests. Gapyeong Naengmyeon Buson is renowned for its Pyeongyang-style memil guksu (buckwheat noodles) served in a light, clear broth. The restaurant's signature dish is the siraegi deulgireum makguksu (buckwheat noodles with dried radish leaf and perilla oil). Siraegi, made from dried cabbage leaves or radish leaves, are rich in vitamins. When placed on top of memil myeon (buckwheat noodles) and mixed with deulgireum (perilla oil) and soy sauce seasoning, it creates a uniquely delightful flavor. Complementing this dish are side servings of yeolmu kimchi (young summer radish kimchi) and tangy mujeorim (pickled radish). Additionally, their gamja jeon (potato pancake) is noteworthy for its savory taste and crispy texture.
