Every year, Seoul National Cemetery hosts an event when the weeping cherry blossoms within the cemetery are in full bloom. The weeping cherry blossoms symbolize patriotism and have a particularly pink appearance. The weeping cherry blossoms offer a fascinating sight with their branches hanging down, resembling a waterfall of flowers. The hanging branches may also seem to be bowing down to pay respect to the brave soldiers and martyrs who fought for the country.

Daehangno is an artistic neighborhood that stretches 1.1 kilometers from Jongno 5-ga Intersection to Hyehwa-dong Rotary. Seoul Dance Festival started in 1979 and is a representative dance festival in Korea, introducing Korean dance, modern dance, ballet and other genres of creative dance performance. Seoul Theater Festival is a theatrical arts festival that has been representing Seoul for over 40 years. The festival’s history first began in 1977 under the name “Republic of Korea’s Theater Festival” with the aim of developing Korea’s original theater productions. The festival has evolved to presenting original performances as well as to interpreting and holding both premier and reruns of excellent performances since 2017.

Situated near Namsan Mountain, Mongmyeoksanbang specializes in bibimbap. Mongmyeok is the ancient name of Namsan Mountain. Bibimbap is a bowl of rice tossed with various vegetables, meat, sesame oil, and red chili paste, making it a nutritionally balanced dish. Their dishes are made with natural seasonings and seasonal herbs gathered from Jirisan Mountain. The soybean pasete and soy sauce are also handmade, and perilla oil and sesame oil are 99.9% natural, without artificial ingredients.

Art Center K (formerly Wonder Space) opened in February 2012, offers art programs in Daehangno, a neighborhood of youth, romance and culture. Art Center K's three theaters feature unique stages and audience spaces: Donggeurami (Circular) Theater, Semo (Triangle) Theater, and Nemo (Square) Theater.
