Soon after its opening in 1983, the Park Ryu Sook Gallery moved to Cheongdam-dong, an uncharted territory back in 1988. Ever since, the gallery has played a significant role in turning the region into one of the most representative art places in Korea. Gebang Sikdang’s gejang (marinated crab) was so highly rated that the restaurant was included in the MICHELIN Guide Seoul 2023. Gejang (marinated crab) is a dish where blue crab, cleanly washed and prepared, is marinated and aged in a sauce made with soy sauce, chili pepper powder, garlic, ginger, rice malt, etc. The restaurant is most famous for its ganjang gejang (soy sauce marinated crab) and yangnyeom gejang (spicy marinated crab). Other popular dishes include kkotgetang (spicy blue crab stew) and gejang bibimbap (marinated crab bibimbap). Set menus come with steamed rice, soup, and side dishes.

The Pairing Room is an Italian restaurant in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. The exterior of the building is neat and clean with an exotic white tone, and the interior has a high ceiling, creating a cool, open feel. They present a special fusion cuisine that combines Italian cuisine with Korean ingredients such as kimchi, Korean soybeans, and makgeolli (unrefined rice wine).
