The Uijeongbu Arts Center is a multipurpose cultural space that maintains a large theater, a small theater, an international conference hall, and an exhibition hall. The large theater is a spacious performance hall that can support 300 on-stage performers and accommodate an audience of 1,057 persons. The theater has a multifunctional, three-dimensional, moving stage and state-of-the-art stage-lighting and sound facilities, making it a suitable venue for all genres, including orchestras, plays, dance performances, operas, and musicals. Despite its size, the small theater’s lighting and sound facilities match those of the large theater, and the facility can easily support a wide array of lively performances, including plays, chamber music, recitals, choral concerts, and other types of concerts, as well as experimental works. The exhibition hall is comprised of a large, round exhibition hall and two general exhibition halls, and its facilities are able to support any type of exhibition, irrespective of the field or size, such as drawings, calligraphy, sculptures, crafts, or photography. At the international conference hall, various symposiums, workshops, and academic seminars can be easily held, maintaining 109 seats for conference attendees, 68 seats for audience members, simultaneous interpretation facilities for up to five languages, and an audio-video control room.

Located at the foot of Bukhansan Mountain, the April 19th National Cemetery was established in memory of the 224 people who lost their lives during the 4.19 Revolution in 1960. The cemetery features a memorial hall and a traditional wooden structure that houses the grave of the historic figure Yu Yeongbong.
At the cemetery is a pond surrounded by sculptures such as "Symbolic Door," "Roots of Democracy," and "Sparks of Justice" and a memorial tower bearing an inscription for the brave patriots who lost their lives during the revolution. Groves of pine, juniper, yew, and maple trees and the well-kept hiking path add a natural charm to the overwhelming ambiance of peace and serenity. Many people visit to see the spring blossoms in May, and throughout the year to take in the glorious scene of the sunset over Bukhansan Mountain.

Goyang West Three Royal Tombs is a significant historical site comprising three major royal burial grounds in the western area. Huireung Royal Tomb is dedicated to Queen Janggyeong (1491-1515), the consort of King Jungjong during the Joseon dynasty. Hyoreung Royal Tomb is the resting place of King Injong (1515-1545) and his queen, Inseong. Yereung Royal Tomb holds the remains of King Cheoljong (1831-1864) and his queen, Cheorin. This area is home to numerous tombs and relics belonging to various members of the Joseon royal family.

The 100-year-old traditional hanok Kansong House sits by the burial mound of Kansong Jeon Hyeong-pil (1906-1962), who played a significant role in preserving the cultural heritages of Korea during the Japanese colonial period. This house was orginally built by Kansong's adoptive father Jeon Myeong-gi (1870-1919) to us as a storage facilities for harvested agriculture from the northern Gyeonggi-do and Hwanghae. After his father's death, Kansong used the house as a ritual house for his father and often stayed here. Some damages were done to the house during the Korean War, and partial repair was made after his death.

Hanjeongsik Daemun is a traditional Korean restaurant known for its set meals featuring nutritious pot rice and around 15 side dishes made with natural ingredients.
