Seongsan Bom Juk Kalguksu is a specialty restaurant located in front of Sinsan Elementary School in Jeju. It specializes in kalguksu (noodle soup), made with shellfish known as "bomal" in Jeju dialect. The signature dish is the bomal kalguksu (noodle soup with brown turban shell), and bomaljuk (brown turban shell porridge) is also popular. Sangumburi Crater has been designated as a Natural Monument. It is located on the southeast side of Jeju, and is a flat crater, about 650 meters wide, 100 meters deep, and 2,070 meters in circumference. If you look at the crater from above up, it looks like a man-made circular stadium. There is a variety of plant-life in the crater. On the north side, Nandaeseong vegetation such as red-thorn trees, and magnolia trees grow, along with the rare winter strawberries. On the south side of the crater, Ondaerim vegetation such as evergreens, maples, and mountain strawberry trees cover the area. Because so many different kinds of trees and plants grow in such a limited space, it attracts the attention of researchers as well.

Eco Land Theme Park is built in the 1 km² Gotjawal primeval forest. Visitors can explore around in a train that looks like an 1800s steam-powered Baldwin train. The seven Baldwin train look-alikes (Lincoln Train) operated in the park were specially ordered and manually manufactured in the UK. In the large Gotjawal forest with railway trails, visitors can see a variety of plants, animals, and insects living in the mysterious Gotjawal forests, while touring around by special train. It also has a lake for visitors to experience the ecosystem of the forest, take a walk and enjoy a picnic.
