Jeju Best Hill (제주베스트힐)

Best Hill is a campground at Namjo-ro, Jeju, at the foot of Banongoreum Parasitic Cone, surrounded by Gotjawal, a jungle-like forest featuring ferns growing on stone-rich land. It is located about 20 to 30 minutes from Jeju International Airport, so it is a good base camp for the surrounding tourist sites as well. Onsite facilities include the pension itself, glamping campground, drone game range, 3D experience, and hot air balloon experience. The pension features a variety of room arrangements, from Camellia to Herb, Meditation, Family, and Experience Rooms, for groups of all sizes. The glamping campground has private bathrooms attached to each tent for convenience. The hot air balloon experience allows riders to take part in the take-off and landing processes. There's a large grassy playground for kids and a covered swimming pool in the summer for hours of fun. Nearby sights include Eco Land Theme Park, Jeju Stone Park, Hamdeok Beach, and Saryeoni Forest Trail.

Bijarim Forest (비자림)

Designated and protected as a Natural Monument, Bijarim Forest is home to 2,800 bija trees, ranging from 500 to 800 years in age, spread over 448,165㎡ land area. These majestic trees range from 7-14 meters in x_height, 50-110 centimeters in diameter, and 10-15 meters in crown x_width, so this forest is quite a rare example of its kind in the world. The berries of bija trees were used widely as a medicine used to kill parasites, while the wood was used to make premium furniture and go boards. Forest bathing in a bija forest helps to combat arteriosclerosis, mitigate physical and psychological fatigue, and restore the body’s rhythm.

Jeju Jeolmul Recreational Forest opened on July 23, 1997. The forest is comprised of both a natural Japanese cedar forest and a man-made forest. The combination of the sea breeze and the shade of the forest canopy over the walking paths make it a cool attraction all year round.

The recreational forest features a promenade, waterfall, pond, grass square, wood-crafting studio, and more. There are forest cabins available for lodging.

Gwangchigi Beach (광치기해변)

Located on the way from Seongsan Ilchulbong Tuff Cone to Seopjikoji, Gwangchigi Beach marks the end point of Jeju Olle Trail Route 1 and the starting point of Route 2. It is known for its unique geological formation, where hot lava cools down immediately upon meeting the sea. During low tides, visitors can see hidden scenic spots. The frozen lava covered with green moss, creates a spectacular view. In particular, the stunning sunrise view with Seongsan Ilchulbong Tuff Cone in the backdrop attracts a lot of visitors. Sinyang Seopji Beach (신양 섭지해수욕장)

Sinyang Seopji Beach is not yet a popular tourist attraction, leaving the fine-grained, sandy beach relatively untouched. Thanks to its quiet atmosphere, the beach gives visitors a calmer, more secluded beach experience than some of the larger beaches on Jeju.

The 80-meter-wide, crescent-shaped beach stretches for a total length of 300 meters. Bordered by waters that are only an average of one meter deep, the beach gently slopes at a five degree angle. Known for its small waves, the beach is the perfect spot for children.

Windsurfing is available nearby and popular tourist attractions such as Seongsan Ilchulbong Tuff Cone and Seopjikoji are located in the area.

Aqua Planet Jeju (아쿠아플라넷 제주)

The highlight of Aqua Planet Jeju is its main tank which contains 6,000 tons of water and houses 27,000 fish, showing marine life up close. This fish tank facility is twice the size than that of Aqua Planet Yeosu, and over three times larger than that of Seoul COEX Aquarium and Busan Sea Life. What makes this aquarium event more special is the Jeju haenyeo (female divers) diving performance, which is only available in Aqua Planet Jeju.

The café on the second floor offers various beverages made from tangerines.
