Gijisi Juldarigi Folk Festival aims to promote this 500-year traditional folk custom. Juldarigi, a tug-of-war game, was started to pray for peace and fortune in the new year and to be in concord with neighbors as part of a village’s feast.

Samseonsan Arboretum is a nature experience learning center and home to over 1,160 different species of plants. It also features 23 exhibit gardens such as a hydrangea garden and azalea garden.
