Simni Bamboo Grove is a bamboo forest that stretches over about 4 kilometers along the Taehwagang River and is a natural garden using bamboo that has grown naturally for a long time. It is a healing space in the city where the river wind blowing through the bamboo and the whisper of bamboo leaves tickle one's ears. It's also a unique night garden where the Milky Way descends in the dark, hence its name "Milky Way Trail." It is a must-see course where you can feel as if you are walking along the Milky Way in the night sky as colorful lights meet bamboo.

Surfyy Beach is a 1 kilometer-long beach designated for surfing, just north of Hajodae Beach in Yangyang. It's the first of its kind in Korea and has the most trainers and approximately 1,000 surfboards while also operating Surf School. Training is available for all different levels from beginners to advanced, and for those only looking to surf, boards and wetsuits are available for rent. Surf yoga, longboard, snorkeling and other programs are also available. The beach has various zones including a bean bag zone, hammock zone, chilling zone, and sunbed zone for visitors to enjoy. Buyeo Sky Banner is the only place that offers free-flying hot air balloon ride in Korea and was designated as one of the top ten themed travels by Korea Tourism Organization. Buyeo is a rural region considered ideal for flying hot air balloons due to its relatively low mountain terrains. The balloons fly a distance of seven to eight kilometers over the Baengmangang River, offering a bird's-eye-view of Buyeo and the Geumgang River as well as the many historical heritages from the Baekje period.
