Le festival international de la bande dessinée de Bucheon, organisé par le comité des opérations, et qui aura lieu au centre d’informations de la bande dessinée de Bucheon, permet de découvrir la bande dessinée coréenne d’aujourd’hui et donne un aperçu de sa future direction à travers les échanges internationaux. Depuis 1998 (année de sa création) jusqu’en 2001, le festival s’est concentré sur les expositions et les manifestations présentant les diverses tendances de la BD coréenne et les BD étrangères.
