Le musée Arario Tapdong Cinéma est l'un trois musées faisant parti du grand musée Arario. Les deux autres sont le musée Dongmun Motel 1 et Dongmun Motel 2. Le directeur Kim Chang-il, un collectionneur d'art, a fait construire ce musée d'art contemporain en utilisant un bâtiment abandonné dans le quartier Tap-dong sur l'île de Jeju.

Inauguré sous le thème de « préservation et création », l'ancien bâtiment a été transformé en un espace où coexistent art et histoire. La structure se distingue par son ambiance unique créée grâce aux caractéristiques du théâtre doté d'un plafond haut et une structure en béton. Le musée expose des œuvres d'artistes internationaux tels que Subodh Gupta et Andy Warhol ainsi que des œuvres d'artistes coréens. Les amateurs d'art moderne locaux et étrangers peuvent donc admirer ici des œuvres célèbres difficiles à trouver à Jeju. Dans les salles d'expositions du premier étage au sous-sol et jusqu'au 4e étage, vous pouvez prendre des photos avec le flash éteint alors qu'au 5e étage, vous pouvez profiter d'un café et une boutique de souvenirs avec vue sur l'ancien centre-ville de Jeju et le quartier de Tap-dong.

Yongduam désigne un rocher volcanique issu d’une éruption qui s'est produite il y a environ deux millions d’années. Il mesure 10 m de haut et 30 m de long. Il a été appelé de la sorte à cause de la légende qui affirme qu’un dragon (“Yong”) vivant dans son palais avait essayé de monter au ciel mais s’était fait attrapé. A cause de sa forme qui ressemble à la tête d’un dragon, il a été appelé Yongduam (Yong-dragon, Du-tête, Am-rocher). A environ 200 mètres à l’est de Yongduam, on trouve également le fameux site Yongyeon avec son eau claire (étang du dragon).
