El Museo Nacional de Daegu fue abierto el 7 de diciembre de 1994 con el objeto de conservar, estudiar y exhibir los bienes culturales de la región y de esta manera poder organizar cursos y programas educativos para la comunidad. La sala de la prehistoria, de arte y de la cultura popular son los espacios que siempre están abiertos. También hay una sala para exhibiciones especiales, 2 almacenes de conservación de restos históricos y un auditorio que da clases y cursos relacionados con la cultura e historia locales. La biblioteca es uno de los sitios más visitados y buscados por los estudiantes por su extensas colecciones de libros y materiales históricos y culturales.

El parque Dalseong de Daegu (conocido como parque Gyeongsang-gamyeong) es el lugar de ocio al aire libre más antiguo e íntimo de Daegu. En el parque, hay una plaza de césped, un centro cultural, un zoo y un monumento con la inscripción de  un poema del famoso poeta Lee Sanghwa. El parque fue el lugar de la fortaleza Dalgubeol, un reino de la era Samhan (Tres Reinos), que ahora es Daegu. En 1905 (el 9º año de reinado del rey Gojong de la dinastía Joseon), el parque fue creado y en febrero de 1965, la ciudad de Daegu transformó el parque en un área de ocio bien organizada que se puede visitar hoy en día.

The restaurant owners take pride in the taste of their mandu, keeping it the only type of mandu on the menu. They also sell noodle side dishes that go well with the mandu, including jjolmyeon (spicy chewy noodles), ramyeon, and udong (udon). What makes this restaurant's mandu special is the addition of sliced green onion, soy sauce, and Korean chili pepper flakes on top of the mandu.
