La Calle de la Cultura Moderna de Daegu, que se extiende 1.600 metros, no es muy larga pero alberga tanto para ver que le tomará unas 2 horas de recorrido. De los innumerables atractivos, los más populares son la Colina Cheongna de Dongsan, la Residencia del Misionero Chamness, la Residencia del Misionero Blair, la Calle del Movimiento de Independencia Manse del 1° de Marzo, la Iglesia Católica de Gyesan-dong, la Antigua Residencia de Lee Sang-hwa, la Antigua Residencia de Seo Sang-don, el Centro de Historia Moderna Gyesanyega y el Museo de la Medicina Tradicional de Daegu.

En particular, la hermosa arquitectura de la Residencia del Misionero Chamness ha aparecido en multitud de telenovelas. Ha sido desde la casa de Kiruma Shunji (interpretado por Park Ki-Woong) en ‘Bridal Mask’ (2012) hasta el sitio de internación de Yoona en ‘Love Rain’ (2012).

La calle Kim Gwangseok-gil es una calle de murales cerca del mercado Bangcheon de la ciudad de Daegu, donde solía residir el difunto cantante coreano Kim Gwangseok. El muro de 350 m de largo tiene estatuas y murales que muestran su vida y su obra. Cada otoño se celebra en los alrededores el Concurso de Canto Kim Gwangseok.

Calle de la Cultura Bongsan (봉산문화거리)

La Calle de la Cultura Bongsan es un punto importante para la cultura y las artes en Daegu. La calle, que va desde Daegu Hakwon hasta Bongsan Yukgeori, tiene más de 20 diferentes galerías de todo tipo y tamaño.

Fue en 1991 cuando la callejuela llena de galerías se convirtió en el centro de la cultura. Pronto, la calle sería nombrada oficialmente como "Calle de la Cultura Bongsan" y, el lugar se pavimentó, se colocaron artísticas farolas y se llenó de pequeños jardines. Tras abrir el Centro Cultural Bongsan y la Casa de la Cultura para los jóvenes, la calle se llenó de visitantes, no solo de artistas.

A lo largo de la calle, se exponen obras durante todo el año, y en octubre (cuando se realiza el Festival de Arte Bongsan) rebosa de pasión artística.
