Miseongdang Napjak Mandu is the longest-running napjak mandu (flat mandu) restaurant in Daegu, first opened in 1963. The restaurant owners take pride in the taste of their mandu, keeping it the only type of mandu on the menu. They also sell noodle side dishes that go well with the mandu, including jjolmyeon (spicy chewy noodles), ramyeon, and udong (udon). What makes this restaurant's mandu special is the addition of sliced green onion, soy sauce, and Korean chili pepper flakes on top of the mandu.

El Estadio Municipal de Daegu fue establecido el 20 de abril de 1948. Contiene un estadio principal, un estadio de béisbol, un estadio de ssireum (lucha libre coreana), una pista de hielo interior, pistas de tenis y mucho más.

El estadio de béisbol, completado en febrero de 1981, es también la casa del equipo de béisbol profesional Samsung Lions. Tras su ampliación en 1975, el Estadio de Daegu fue el lugar elegido para muchos partidos durante los Juegos Asiáticos de 1986 y los Juegos Olímpicos de Verano de 1988. El estadio tiene un aforo de 13.000 personas.

En 1905 (el 9º año de reinado del rey Gojong de la dinastía Joseon), el parque fue creado y en febrero de 1965, la ciudad de Daegu transformó el parque en un área de ocio bien organizada que se puede visitar hoy en día.

Tras 78 años de operación, el puente ferroviario Ayang fue cerrado, pero se reconvirtió en un espacio cultural bajo el nombre de Ayang Gichatgil. Esta atracción tiene 277 metros de largo, 14,2 metros de altura y cubre una superficie total de 427,75 metros cuadrados. Los visitantes pueden acceder a un observatorio, ver exposiciones, descansar en un café, etc. Este espacio recibió la distinción Red Dot Design Award por su restauración de un antiguo puente ferroviario usando un diseño público. Algunas atracciones cercanas son el Sendero Simni de los Cerezos en Flor, el monumento Gomoryeongbi, el complejo Dongchong Resort y la Aldea Feliz Onggi Jonggi.
