Cada 1º de enero se celebra el Festival del Amanecer del Monte Inwangsan en un lugar más comúnmente conocido como “La colina del poeta Yun Dong-ju". El Parque Cheongun es un gran lugar para ver la salida o la puesta del sol en Seúl. A pesar de su impresionante vista en medio de las grandes áreas montañosas de los montes Inwangsan y Bugaksan, el Parque Cheongun es menos conocido en comparación con otros puntos para ver el atardecer.
