Mangwon Market is close to both Mangnidan Street and Hangang Park, making it a great place to do some shopping in preparation for a riverside picnic. The market isn’t very large, but one can find classics like the deep-fried and braised chicken, braised pigs' feet, and other snack fare there, along with stores offering food and lifestyle items for some browsing. The roads here tend to be narrow and crowded, and there are cars that run along the alleyways so visitors are advised to to take special care to ensure safety.

Seongsu-dong, que estuvo representado por áreas de antiguas fábricas y callejones de talleres de calzado, ha renacido como un espacio para cafeterías de moda y de cultura. Todavía funcionan la fábrica de mantenimiento de automóviles, la fábrica de impresión y la Calle de Zapatos Artesanales, pero se ha formado un ambiente único en Seongsu-dong a medida que los restaurantes globales y las tiendas y cafeterías selectas han entrado entre las ruidosas fábricas. Se salvaron la estructura de ladrillo rojo de la antigua bodega, el antiguo letrero y el vasto espacio interior, y se añadió un interior elegante para crear un espacio para desfiles de moda y exposiciones, mostrando nuevas posibilidades de la antigua arquitectura de Seongsu-dong. Además de esto, nuevos cafés, pastelerías, restaurantes y espacios culturales complejos están abiertos todos los días y están ocupados recibiendo a los huéspedes.

Yoojung Sikdang (유정식당)

Yoojung Sikdang is well-known, despite being located in a side-street, thanks to its having been frequented often by BTS members during their training days. BTS fans will love seeing the many pictures and posters of BTS decorating the walls, and can enjoy the same dishes loved by their idols. Some of the stars' most ordered dishes have had their names changed to reflect this.
