Wang In fue un célebre erudito del reino de Baekje (18 a.C.-660 d.C., uno de los antiguos reinos de Corea) que por la invitación del Emperador de Japón se convirtió en maestro del príncipe japonés. Fue el personaje que introdujo la cultura y la ciencia de Baekje en Japón mediante los textos: “Analectas de Confucio” (serie de charlas que el Confucio dio a sus discípulos) y “Cheonjamun” (texto básico de caracteres chinos). En este sitio podrá encontrar el lugar de nacimiento de Wang In, el espacio en donde estudió y el santuario que conserva su tablilla mortuoria, entre otros.

La Granja de Ciruelas Bohae fue establecida en 1979 en Haenam, provincia de Jeollanam-do, por la Destilería Bohae y se ha convertido en la granja de ciruelas verdes más grande de Corea. Cada primavera, cuando las flores maehwa de ciruelo comienzan a lucirse en los árboles, la destilería abre la granja al público, ofreciendo la oportunidad de disfrutar de las preciosas flores y de comprar ciruelas frescas. La Destilería Bohae continúa produciendo y vendiendo diferentes productos de ciruela maesil hechos con las frutas cultivadas en su plantación.
