Explanation

Geoje Botanical Garden, also called Geoje Jungle Dome, is the largest botanical garden in Korea, covering an area of 4468 square meters, a maximum height of 30 meters, and covered with 7,472 sheets of glass. There are 10,000 kinds of tropical trees of 300 species inside the dome, and there are various attractions such as a rock garden, a rock valley, photo zones, a cactus garden, blackboard trees, and a cave of light. The garden contributes to improving the quality of life in green and abundance through various plants and ecological experiences throughout the four seasons and contributes to the realization of the educational and cultural value of green plants through plant culture experience. In addition, we are conserving biodiversity and making efforts to maintain and preserve the ecosystem through research and collection.

Jeonbuk’s first private garden, the Flower Guest Project, is designed as a farm garden where half-century-old trees blend with hundreds of thousands of flowers that bloom throughout the seasons. The Flower Guest Project Flower Party, which showcases new flowers and scenery every season, features seasonal plant-themed events such as the Gochang Pink Muhly Festival and the Gochang Zinnia Festival. The Palmido Cruise is a sightseeing cruise that departs from Yeonan Pier in Jemulpo-gu, Incheon. The route to Palmido Island, located approximately 16 km west of Yeonan Pier, offers views of the Incheondaegyo Bridge and the islands of the West Sea. Palmido Island is home to Korea’s first modern lighthouse, which was lit in 1903. The old lighthouse has been designated as a National Historic Site, and the new lighthouse, built in 2003, stands side by side with it. Palmido Island was long restricted as a military protection zone but was opened to the public in 2009. Visitors can explore the lighthouse, the Lighthouse History Museum, Sopalmido Beach, and the Dulle Trail. Cruise options include a round-trip route to Palmido Island lasting approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes and an 80-minute sightseeing cruise around the waters off Incheon. Depending on the season and day of the week, additional programs such as a sunset cruise to view the sunset over the West Sea, a fireworks cruise, and squid fishing on board are also available. The Camellia Cruise, currently in service, consists of three decks: the first deck features a snack bar and a karaoke room; the second deck has an indoor seating area; and the third deck offers an outdoor Observatory with a 360-degree view.

Opened in 2003, Resort Spavalley is a hot spring and sauna facility located in Naengcheon-ri, Gachang-myeon, Dalseong-gun. The building's first floor has a gym, a souvenir shop, and other stores. The second floor features a Bade (meaning bathing) pool, a children's pool, the Samhap experience room, the UK-Ball jjimjilbang (Korean sauna), a fast food store, a cave-like jjimjilbang, and a sleeping room.
