Boryeong Spring Cool Tunnel & Rest Area is located on the slopes of Seongjusan Mountain in Boryeong-si, originally an abandoned mine that extended underground for hundreds of meters. Even in the summer when temperatures soar above 30°C, the cool breeze here maintains around 12°C, making it cooler when the outside temperature is high. Dishes made from button mushrooms cultivated using the abandoned mine are also available for dining.

This house and tomb are where Kim Jeong-hui (pen name: Chusa, 1786-1856), a Joseon-era scholar and artist, lived and was laid to rest. Chusa Memorial Hall and Chusa Experience Center are found next to the house. After studying in Qing China, Kim Jeong-hui served in multiple government posts. He is best known for his unique calligraphical style, which bears his courtesy name (Chusa), and many works of art that survive to this day. The Experience Center offers traditional art experiences inspired by Kim Jeong-hui’s works.

Ocheon Port is located in the northern part of Boryeong-si, where the Hwanghae Sea and Gwangcheoncheon Stream meet. It was once an important regional administrative center during the Joseon dynasty (1392-1897). Ocheon Port Ferry Terminal operates ferry services to nearby islands such as Woldo Island and Yukdo Island.

Chungcheong Suyeongseong Fortress in Boryeong is a stone fortress built by the Joseon dynasty (1392-1897) in the 16th century to defend against invasions through the Hwanghae Sea. It offers a picturesque view of the Hwanghae Sea and several islands. The entrance to the fortress, called Manghwamun Gate, showcases stone artistry with its polished granite arch. This site also has historical significance as a place where Catholic persecution occurred in the 19th century.

Cheonbuk Oyster Complex in Boryeong is a place near the Hongseong Embankment where various restaurants specializing in oysters are clustered. Boryeong is known for its abundant oyster production, with those caught between November and February considered the finest.
