Gohado Island Observatory was built to resemble the traditional battleships of the Joseon dynasty, like those used by Admiral Yi Sunshin. The observatory is a popular location due to the wonderful views it affords of the sea surrounding Gohado Island. The observatory also includes a rest area and exhibitions about Mokpo tourism and history.

Gosanjeong Pavilion was built by Geum Nan-su in 1564 as a place for study. The pavilion is located below the Gasonghyeop escarpment, one of the eight scenic sites of Andong, along the Nakdonggang River. Views from the pavilion include Woebyeongsan and Naebyeongsan Mountains and a lush pine forest.

Mukgyeseowon Confucian Academy was founded in 1687, but was mostly destroyed in 1869, leaving just the lecture hall behind. Recently, these removed buildings have slowly been rebuilt to restore the academy to its former glory.
Mukgye Head House of the Andong Kim Clan is located near the Confucian academy and features a shrine to Bobaekdang, the founder of the academy. The house was built in a square shape with an open courtyard in the middle and has been maintained in good condition.

Jaman Mural Village is located on a hillside across the road from Jeonju Hanok Village. The village was formed by Korean war refugees resettling where they could, and remained as a small village interlaced by narrow pathways until 2012. At that point, the village was enlivened with over 40 murals and became popular for photographs. Many of the houses have been converted into cafes, guesthouses, and restaurants.

Myeongju-dong in Gangneung has been the center of administration and culture from the Goryeo dynasty onwards. Nowadays, visitors can enjoy a range of concerts, performances, and events at the Myeongju Art Space, Haetsal Museum, Jageun Stage, Gangneung Coffee Festival, Myeongju Flea Market, and more. The streets here are lined with unique cafes, cultural spaces, and history.

Yudalsan Sculture Garden was the first outdoor sculpture garden to open in Korea, and is located just below Ideungbawi Rock at the summit of the mountain. The garden features 104 works of art on the themes of nature, culture, and sculpture that were selected through a panel of judges. Located between the different works are trees and plants, providing more beauty to the park. Looking farther away, visitors can see the major attractions of Mokpo spread out in the city below.

Yekki Village is an artistic village in Andong. The alleyways are decorated with colorful murals, the galleries feature work from local artists, and visitors can experience a hanok experience. The biggest charm of the village is the Sunseong Susang-gil Waterway, a floating path across the lake.

Confucian Land, located within Andong Culture & Tourism Resort, is a themed exhibition hall that focuses on Korea's Confucian culture. The facility uses the edu-tainment method to make a difficult subject matter easy to understand for young children. Exhibitions include the teachings of famous Confucian scholars like Toegye Yi Hwang and Yulgok Yi I, traditional musical instruments such as the gayageum and haegeum, as well as a video hall with 3D film capabilities and a children's game area with motion-tracking.

Zootopium is the largest animal & plant themed park in Gyeongsangbuk-do, home to over 200 species. The park provides the perfect environment for children to learn more about nature and living organisms. Ajunghosu is a large-scale reservoir that was originally built for agricultural purposes but is now beloved as cultural and natural space for local residents. The lake features a wooden deck walkway that creates a beautiful scene at night when lit up.
