Soulone Botanical Garden (소울원)

Soulone, meaning "filled with laughter," is a healing space of approximately 13,200 square meters. The garden aims to provide a place where guests can rest their weary bodies and minds while being surrounded by trees and flowers. The garden is decorated with ornamental trees, rocks, and bonsai, along with other kinds of plants, like tropical plants in the greenhouse. A coffee shop with a modern interior allows visitors to enjoy the landscaped garden in comfort. More active guests can enjoy a light walk through a tunnel of trees on the mountain road. Nearby attractions include the Paju section of the DMZ, Paju Book City, and Paju Premium Outlets.

Lotte World Tower was designed with a conceptual motif inspired by Korean ceramics and writing brushes. With 123 floors total, the tower is the fifth tallest building in the world, standing at 555 meters. The tower contains galleries, cafés, and a luxury hotel, in addition to a skywalk and an observation deck. It is one of the best spots to appreciate the breathtaking view of Seoul's vibrant city lights.

Lotte World Mall, located next to the tower, features Avenuel, a complex of luxury department stores. The multi-leveled mall draws in many visitors as one of the top shopping attractions in Seoul, with a variety of domestic and foreign brands. The mall also offers a wide-range of entertainment facilities, such as a movie theater, aquarium, concert hall, and more.

Gangwon Yongchupokpo Falls (무릉계곡 용추폭포(강원))

Located approximately 2.5 kilometers west of Samhwasa Temple, the entrance of Mureunggyegok Valley, Yongchupokpo Falls is a three-tiered waterfall in a shape of a pot that gets its waters from Cheongoksan Mountain (1,403.7 meters). Located 70 meters below Yongchupokpo Falls is Ssangpokpo Falls, where the water from Yongchupokpo Falls and Bakdalgyegok Valley meets to create a deep and beautiful base.

Samaksan Mountain in Chuncheon is known for many waterfalls in different sizes along the gorge, and especially Deungseon Falls is the best known to tourists. By entering the hiking trail of the falls, you will encounter a narrow and deep gorge. Formed through quartzitic jointing, the gorge has a mysterious atmosphere with its strange rocks and bizarre stones, which look sharp and precipitous. As the gorge and falls keep their cool temperature, the area is a popular summer resort. Deungseon Falls is one of the Eight Sights of Deungseon, along with Seunghak Falls, Baengnyeon Falls, and Biryong Falls. The quickest way to get to Deungseon Falls starts from the Deungseon Falls Ticket Booth, which is close to Gangchon.

Danyang Jeokseong Fortress (단양 적성)

Danyang Jeokseong Fortress is a fortress made of stones gathered from Seongjaesan Mountain in Danyang. The fortress was built surrounding the mountain's southern slope and summit.

The fortress had a circumference of 923 meters, but most of it has been destroyed; the only remaining section is a 3-meter part of the inner wall in the northeast quarter. Three gates were found in the southwest, east, and southeast areas. Inside of the fortress is a stone stele.
