Opened on June 10, 1994, the Busan Marine Natural History Museum is the first and largest museum of its kind in Korea. The museum features some 25,000 marine specimens from over 100 countries around the world, including rare living species and those native to Korea. This is an observatory located along Sanbok-ro Road in Choryang-dong, Dong-gu, Busan. A mailbox was installed to celebrate the artworks and literature of famous poet Yu Chi-hwan. The observatory is divided into two levels. The first level consists of a terraced outdoor performance stage, while the second level is an art exhibition area, designed with floor to ceiling windows.

Doraemon in Busan is a themed exhibition based on the popular animation "Doraemon." The exhibition takes place from May 1 to November 3 in Busan. There is a special zone dedicated to incorporating the charms of Busan with Doraemon. Other highlights of the exhibition in the 6-meter tall Doraemon statue outside and limited merch available on the 3rd floor. The exhibition is open from 11 to 19:30, and last admission is at 19:00.
