Haeundae Beach is the most famous beach in Busan. The white sand beach is roughly 1.5 kilometers long, over a 30- to 50-meter wide area, creating a beautiful coastline before a shallow bay, making it perfect for swimming.

People flock to Haeundae Beach every summer. All kinds of accommodations from luxury hotels to private guesthouses have developed in the area around the beach, making this the perfect summer vacation spot. Haeundae Beach is also famous for various cultural events and festivals held throughout the year. Other facilities in the area include Dongbaekseom Island, Busan Aquarium, a yachting dock, BEXCO, driving courses and more.

Hyeongje Jeontong Dwaeji Gukbap (형제전통돼지국밥)

This dwaeji gukbap (pork and rice soup) restaurant is quite accessible, thanks to its location by the big street at the entrance to Haeundae Beach from Haeundae Station.  Busan’s pork and rice soup is famous for its odorless yet rich stock, plenty of meat, and soup boiled down for long hours. This restaurant serves a clean and refined bowl, flavored to taste with salted shrimp (small shrimp salted and used for flavoring or as side dishes). It opens quite early in the morning, so locals prefer this place as well. There aren't a lot of seats, so visitors won’t have to wait for too long.

F1963 is a representative cultural complex and an emerging landmark in Busan. This factory produced wires in the past for about 45 years from 1963 to 2008. 2016 Busan Biennale was a turning point for this building as the building was transformed into a space for art and culture; various cultural events take place and it has an art library, exhibition hall, and concert hall. The base design and framework from the old factory were preserved during the renovation, leaving traces of the old building that give its unique atmosphere. Regenerated architecture and walking trails outside the space are designed to offer a pleasant walk. Visitors can also enjoy food, drinks, and activities inside the building from renowned branch stores such as Terarosa, a famous cafe in Gangneung; Boksoondoga, where one can taste the essence of traditional Korean fermented makgeolli (unrefined rice wine), and Hwasumok Flower & Garden, where visitors can take gardening and flower classes.
