Dongbaekseom Island (Island of Camellias) is an island located off one end of Busan's famous Haeundae Beach. Although the years of sedimentation have connected the island to the mainland, Dongbaekseom was originally an island and is still referred to as one.

Dongbaekseom Island is easy to navigate thanks to the walking path that is built around it. The island has several attractions, including the monument inscribed with a poem of scholar Choi Chi-won, the mermaid statue based on the legend of Princess Hwagok, and the Nurimaru APEC House. It also offers fantastic views of the Busan shoreline towards Mipo, Dalmaji Hill, Gwangangdaegyo Bridge, and Oryukdo Island. As the name suggests, camellias burst into bloom everywhere on the island from winter to spring.

Huin-yeoul Coastal Tunnel was formed in December 2018 to help the elderly and the infirm walk smoothly without going through the steep stair section between the piano stairs and wave square near Jeoryeonghaean Coastal Trail. The 70 meter tunnel not only give easy walking route, there's also a photo zone, lightings and more for visitors to enjoy. The lights within the tunnel are lit from 09:00 to 23:00.

The hearty modeum-hoe (assorted sliced raw fish) is the flagship dish of this restaurant. The portion is quite filling, despite the deceptively low price. You can enjoy the fresh raw fish of Busan, or any of the other dishes such as hoe-deopbap (raw fish bibimbap) and maeun-tang (spicy fish stew) which are also tasty.

The National Maritime Museum is a comprehensive venue offering exhibitions on maritime culture, history, ocean life, science, and more. The exterior of the museum was designed to resemble a water droplet and is the third largest museum in Korea. The museum holds over 14,000 historic items and relics that have witnessed history and are relevant to the future of ocean life.
