Haeundae Beach is the most famous beach in Busan. The white sand beach is roughly 1.5 kilometers long, over a 30- to 50-meter wide area, creating a beautiful coastline before a shallow bay, making it perfect for swimming.

People flock to Haeundae Beach every summer. All kinds of accommodations from luxury hotels to private guesthouses have developed in the area around the beach, making this the perfect summer vacation spot. Haeundae Beach is also famous for various cultural events and festivals held throughout the year. Haeundae Tourist Information Center, located next to the Busan Aquarium, provides information about tourist attractions and programs. Visitors can obtain leaflets, travel maps, and guidebooks to make their trip more convenient. Right next to the Information Center is the Haeundae Souvenir Shop, where visitors can purchase a variety of Haeundae-themed souvenirs, such as camellia tote bags, mugs, magnets, and accessories.

Haneul Observatory is known for its amazing view. On clear days, visitors can see far islands including Geojedo. With a translucent floor skywalk and a place for couples to put keylocks, it's a popular place to go on a date. Visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of the ocean and also go on a stroll by walking down the wooden deck to the Joryeong Coastal Walking Trail. The ocean below the observatory is a popular snokelling area and it is only a 20-minute walk to a pebble beach. Huinnyeoul Culture Village is also connected to the observatory for easy access to one of the more popular attractions of Busan. The observatory is also known for being a beautiful sunset spot.

Hyeongje Jeontong Dwaeji Gukbap (형제전통돼지국밥)

This dwaeji gukbap (pork and rice soup) restaurant is quite accessible, thanks to its location by the big street at the entrance to Haeundae Beach from Haeundae Station.  Busan’s pork and rice soup is famous for its odorless yet rich stock, plenty of meat, and soup boiled down for long hours. This restaurant serves a clean and refined bowl, flavored to taste with salted shrimp (small shrimp salted and used for flavoring or as side dishes). It opens quite early in the morning, so locals prefer this place as well. There aren't a lot of seats, so visitors won’t have to wait for too long.
