Busan Cultural Center began construction in October 1983 and finished constructing three halls in 1993. In April 2010, the cultural center underwent renovations and reopend in October. The architecture format used traditional Korean houses with a large, medium, and small halls. Large gates and walls were removed to allow easy access. The roof used concrete slabs to recreate traditional patterns and the exterior walls are made of granite stone.

UN Sculpture Park is located next to the UN Memorial Cemetery where the souls of UN soldiers who served in the Korean War rest in peace. The sculpture park exhibits 34 pieces of artworks created and donated by sculptors from 21 nations who provided support in the Korean War. These sculptures were created as a part of UN Memorial Park International Sculpture Symposium (September 15-30, 2000) that commemorated the 50th anniversary of the outbreak of the Korean War in honor of those who fought in the war. The UN Sculpture Park had its opening ceremony on October 24, 2001.

This is the fastest way to go downhill from Sanbok road to Busan port. The stairs are known to be as tall as a 6-story building and have exactly 168 steps. In the past, there used to be 3 wells located at the bottom of the stairs, which locals would wait in line to draw water when there was insufficient water, but now, there is only one well with drinking water.

Located near Busan Station, Choryang Ibagu-gil street was formed when people started building houses on top of the hill during the time of poverty. An observatory, Ibagu Archive Center, Yu Chi-hwan Postbox, and other places perfect for photos can be seen along the road leading up to the hilltop. Atop the hill, a wide road known as the Sanbok Road features an open view of Busan's downtown within a sight. The workshop serves as an archive center for the stories of local residents in Sanbok Road, and a new planned exhibition is held every two months. Personal collections, as well as the history of locals living in this district are well preserved, creating a warehouse of cultural resources for the future.
