The Daegu Chimac Festival celebrates the beloved Korean combination of chicken and beer, a pairing appreciated worldwide thanks to K-dramas. Opened on September 29, 2000, the Daegu Kolon Open Air Music Hall is Korea’s largest single music hall. Pyeonggwang-dong Apple Village is home to some 140 apple orchards. The village is located at the foot of Palgongsan Mountain, and has been growing apples for over 100 years, even creating a new apple, the Pyeonggwang honey apple.
