Tongyeong Lighthouse Fishing Park is a bridge-shaped fishing facility, conveniently situated near the Donam Tourist Complex in Tongyeong. It was established in 2006 when Tongyeong was selected as a pilot site for the Marine Fishing Park project initiated by Gyeongsangnam-do. Known as an ideal spot for sea fishing, it offers stunning views of the Hallyeo National Marine Park. This location allows visitors to enjoy sea fishing safely without the need to venture far out to sea by boat.

The name Dongpirang is a combination of the Korean words "dong," meaning east, and "birang," meaning hill in the Tongyeong dialect. In October 2007, the Tongyeong Agenda 21 association invited people throughout the nation to paint murals on the walls of Dongpirang-gil Street. Thanks to the participants' paintings, this hillside village on the sea became a new place, revitalized by art. The view overlooking the sea and Gangguan Port is fantastic as well.

This restaurant limits its offering to 100 tables per day to ensure the freshness of its dishes. Its signature dish is the gul samhap (oyster, kimchi, and pork belly combo). It also offers guljeon (oyster pancakes), gul tangsuyuk (deep-fried oyster with sweet and sour sauce), gul eomuk (oyster and fishcake soup), and other oyster dishes.

This restaurant serves seafood dishes made with fresh seafood in season. In spring, it serves sea squirt, abalone, and cutlassfish as mulhoe (cold raw fish soup), jeon (pan-fried battered dishes), sotbap (hot pot rice), and bibimbap. In fall and winter, oyster dishes take the fore. The restaurant is quite sizable, so it is ideal for group visits.

DPIRANG, a digital theme park, is situated at Nammangsan Park in Tongyeong. Its media show narrates the story of murals that vanished from Dongpirang and Seopirang, renowned mural villlages in Tongyeong, and have now brought to life. Additionally, the park features fifteen differently themed trails, each adorned with an array of lights, spanning a total length of 1.3km.

Dongwon Haemul Cheonguk is located near Donam Tourist Area in Tongyeong. With a beautiful ocean view, visitors can enjoy fresh seafood sourced directly from the waters of Tongyeong. The signature dish is cheolpan haemultang (spicy seafood stew on a hot iron plate), brimming with fresh seasonal catches like abalone and octopus. The Pangpang Yacht Tour offers visitors the chance to enjoy a luxury yacht ride at a great low price. Each yacht can take up to 11 passengers, and explores the calm sea around Tongyeong. Reservations are only accepted via phone call, but pets can also ride as long as they are in a carrier. The yacht club also offers private tours for special events.

With almost 400 years of history, Tongyeong Jungang Market is a popular tourist spot in the city of Tongyeong, attracting tourists during weekends and even on weekdays.

The market is located next to Dongpirang Village. In front of the market is Gangguan Port where a turtle ship (geobukseon) and fishing boats are docked. The spacious cultural venue called Munhwa Madang is quite reminiscent of Byeongseon Madang, a place for anchoring or mooring warships in the past.

As the market is located close to the coastline, fresh fish and dried fish make up a huge part of the market's offerings. Here, visitors can also find mother-of-pearl inlaid wares, quilted products, and rice cakes.

Gangguan Port (강구안)

Gangguan Port is located in Tongyeong close to the sea, and regarded to be more full of energy compared to other ports due to the sea waves seen close by. The port is occupied by moored fishing boats and rows of restaurants that sell Chungmu-style gimbap.

Tongyeong Sebyeonggwan Hall (통영 세병관)

Sebyeonggwan Hall, located in Tongyeong, Gyeongsangnam-do, was established in 1605 by the 6th generation commander-in-chief Lee Kyung-jun and is well known as one of the widest buildings of the Joseon period along with Gyeonghoeru Pavilion in Gyeongbokgung Palace and Jinnamgwan Hall in Yeosu-si.

Sebyeonggwan Hall is placed at the foot of Yeohwangsan Mountain and overlooks Tongyeong. Right next to the hall are the remains of the naval base Tongjeyeong, which includes Unjudang (also called Jeseungdang, a military education center for the Joseon Navy) among others.

Sebyeonggwan Hall symbolizes the ending of the war, the washing away and cleaning up of the weapons of war.
