Daegwallyeong Sky Ranch, located in the highlands of Daegwallyeong Pass, is an environmentally friendly ranch that raises over 400 cows, sheep, and horses. Visitors can easily view the ranch by riding a tractor, completing one circut in 45 minutes. The view of the ranch and surrounding area is best seen from the sky deck observatory. The ranch also features themed walking paths and activities including horseback riding and feeding baby animals.

Sangwonsa Temple is located 8 kilometers north of Woljeongsa Temple. The temple was built by Buddhist monk Ja Jang in the 12th year of Silla Queen Seondeok, and rebuilt in 705 during the 4th year of King Seongdeok's reign. It burned down in 1946, but was restored once again in 1947. The temple is home to the Bronze Bell of Sangwonsa (a National Treasure), the oldest bronze bell in the nation. The bell, built during the 24th year of King Seongdeok, has a x_height of 1.67 meters and a diameter of 91 centimeters with a beautiful, clear ring. Other relics at the temple include Statue of Child Manjusri, said to have been seen directly by King Sejo, as well as a tablet commending the rebuilding of Sangwonsa Temple, written by King Sejo. Gwangdaegeori, located at the temple entrance, is also connected with King Sejo through a story of his bathing in the pure mountain stream one day while visiting Sangwonsa Temple.

Samyang Roundhill welcomes visitors with refreshing, pure breeze and wide-open pastures, a perfect setting for a nature excursion. The Farm is a sanctuary for gentle herbivores like sheep, cows, and ostriches, living freely in this pristine environment. A farm ranch owned by Samyang Foods of the popular Buldak franchise, it opened in 1972 to provide quality protein to the people. In 2007, it became open to the public as a tourist destination. Not only can visitors enjoy feeding the animals, but it is the only ranch in Gangwon State where visitors can watch sheep herding against the backdrop of the beautiful scenic landscape. Daegwallyeong Yangtte Ranch is situated at an elevation of 920 meters, sprawling across 205,000 square meters of open grassland. The sheep roam freely throughout the year, except in winter, allowing visitors to wander the trails and watch the flock in their natural setting. For those looking to interact more directly, there is an option to participate in a feeding experience, where visitors can feed hay to the sheep. A 1.2-meter-long circular walkway encircles the sheep grazing field, and a leisurely stroll along this path takes about 40 minutes. The ranch is also known for its numerous scenic photo opportunities. Additionally, a wildlife habitat community is established at the center of the ranch, enhancing its ecological appeal.

Anbandegi Village is a mountainside village located at an elevation of 1,100 meters. The village name is a combination of the words "anban," which refers to the large and oval wooden platform used when pounding rice cakes, and "degi," which means flat land. Most of the village lands are covered with cabbage farms formed along the mountain slope. The steep slopes make it impossible to use farm machinery, which means all the cabbages farms are the result of manual work by the villagers.

Sogeumganggyegok Valley is located on the east side of Odaesan Mountain. The valley is also referred to as Cheonghak Dongsogeum because the scenery resembles a crane (cheonghak) spreading its wings. Nochusan Mountain, part of the Taebaek Mountain Range, derives its name from the ancient Chinese states of Lu (No) and Zou (Chu). This naming commemorates the area's historical significance as a place of study for two of Korea's great scholars: Seol Chong from the Silla period and Yi I from the Joseon era. The Mojeongtap Trail on Nochusan Mountain is noteworthy for its 3,000 stone towers, erected by an elderly mother in honor of her children. The term “Mojeong” signifies a mother's love for her children.

Daegwallyeong Museum is located in Gangneung-si, Gangwon-do. It is housed in a building that resembles a dolmen, striking a balance with the surrounding landscape and earning it an Outstanding Architecture Award from the Construction Association of Korea and the Best Award from Gangwon-do.
The museum has six exhibition halls, including those that are named after the guardian gods that represent the four directions. Cheongnyongbang (Room of the Blue Dragon - East) is decorated in blue and displays celadon and traditional ceramics. Baekobang (Room of the White Tiger - West) is in white and exhibits Buddhist art and wooden dolls. Jujakbang (Room of the Red Vermillion - South) is in red and displays a bridal palanquin, folk paintings, and calligraphy. The black Hyeonmubang (Room of the Black Turtle - North) displays bronze relics. Also, there is the Togibang (Earthenware) showing Prehistoric era shacks and earthenware, and Uribang, exhibiting wooden furniture and folk craftwork. The outdoor space offers an exhibit of stone pagodas and statues as well as a thatched cottage and an operating water mill.
