Yangpyeong Paragliding Park is a place where one can fly freely in the sky at 862 m, the highest altitude available in Korea, and take a walk in the clouds. Tandem flights are available for two people as a group with a pilot, so anyone can enjoy a two-seat tandem flight safely. Visitors can choose from several courses, including a relaxing course flying without taking any photos, a couple course where two gliders fly close together, and a special course to learn how to pilot oneself. Aside from the relaxing course, all courses can take videos and photos, making it great for making memories. The duration is about 10 to 25 minutes. The park may be closed due to weather conditions such as rain or strong winds, so please check in advance before visiting.

Hanok Maeul Hwangto Pension is located on the side of the Namhangang River of Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi Province. It is a beautiful two-story hanok, located in idyllic countryside, with a wide grass lawn perfect for families with children or group visitors. The grass lawn is furnished with traditional sights like a vine-colored pavilion, well, old-fashioned treadmill, neolttwigi jumping boards, and traditional mortar, creating a rustic atmosphere that doubles as a site of learning for children. A wooden footbridge connects the second floor of the building, with a great view of the fields nearby. There are five rooms in total, the Korean-style Family Room, Sarang, and bedrooms of Gwibin, Sinhon, and the Sudabang annex. Each room is furnished in the traditional red clay wall and Korean traditional paper interior as a continuation of the theme of hanok. The Family Room is equipped with a wide living room with a fabric sofa and wooden furniture, dining table, and a kitchen with cooking utensils, making it ideal for group visitors. Sudabang room in the annex is a great place for lovers and families, and its crowning feature is the clay fireplace in the living room. Roasted potatoes and sweet potatoes from the fireplace are delectable parts of the room’s appeal. Firewood must be bought from the pension. The pension is also equipped with red clay sauna, fired with Korean charcoal. It is offered free of charge for the guests. Outdoor barbeque and campfire sites may be reserved with extra cost.

Lemongrass Pension is a private pension nestled next to a clean stream at the foot of Sorisan Mountain in Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi-do Province. The host lives on the premises to keep the facilities clean and offers friendly services. All five guest rooms are private two-story buildings, which come in difference sizes for groups of two, four, six, and eight guests. As soon as you open the door to the guest room, you can see a full wall window that shows the beautiful scenery of the mountain. Inside Lemon Balm Room, which is the biggest guest room that can accommodate eight guests, there is a fireplace which creates the feel of a private cottage. It even has a karaoke machine. The two-story Chamomile Room can accommodate six guests. On the first floor, there is a bed room and a living room. There is a cute little attic on the second floor. The pension also has a front lawn that is well maintained. The front lawn is connected to a deck and there are also convenient facilities such as bench and rocking chair. In particular, the pension has an outdoor barbecue area that is shared by all guests. You can enjoy the luxury of having a meal over the panoramic view of Sorisan Mountain. There are also complementary facilities that the guests can use conveniently including cafeteria, foot volleyball court, and baseball court. Vivaldi Park is only 10 minutes away from the pension. Originally, no name was given to this mountain on topographical maps. But in 1973, when the Empor Alpine Club reached the mountain during a hike across the nation, the club members named it after Jin Yu-myeong, a member of the expedition. On old maps, the mountain had been called Mayusan Mountain because of the horses raised in the area, but today it is more widely known as Yumyeongsan Mountain. The trail that starts from Yangpyeong leads to an expansive and open grassland. The hiking trails are also connected to those of Mount Daebusan and Mount Sogunisan. On the summit, there is a pile of stones, and the view from the top is splendid.
