Opened in 2004, Supullo Unsimni is situated on the Namhangang Riverside. The site used to be a sandpit before it was turned into a wetland. Effluent from wastewater treatment plants, which in the past was released directly into the Hangang River, now passes through several ponds with various aquatic plants and a one kilometer-long waterway so that it can be naturally purified. This has contributed to an improvement in the water quality of the Hangang River. The center was built to restore the Namhangang Riverside area, which was destroyed due to sand extraction, and to restore its natural ecology of willow trees, reeds, and birds. The center organizes a number of ecological excursion programs for children.

Lemongrass Pension is a private pension nestled next to a clean stream at the foot of Sorisan Mountain in Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi-do Province. The host lives on the premises to keep the facilities clean and offers friendly services. All five guest rooms are private two-story buildings, which come in difference sizes for groups of two, four, six, and eight guests. As soon as you open the door to the guest room, you can see a full wall window that shows the beautiful scenery of the mountain. All guest rooms have a self-contained kitchen with a refrigerator, a microwave, and tableware. In addition to this, there is an exclusive indoor barbecue area as well. The pension also has a front lawn that is well maintained. The front lawn is connected to a deck and there are also convenient facilities such as bench and rocking chair. In particular, the pension has an outdoor barbecue area that is shared by all guests. You can enjoy the luxury of having a meal over the panoramic view of Sorisan Mountain. There are also complementary facilities that the guests can use conveniently including cafeteria, foot volleyball court, and baseball court. Vivaldi Park is only 10 minutes away from the pension. Yangpyeong Wildflower Arboretum, Semiwon, and Gwangtan Recreation Area are also located nearby.

Yangpyeong Icefish Festival takes place in Soomy Village from late-December to early-February. Residents are preparing for the festival to welcome all visitors including families, couples, groups and others. During the festival, visitors can eat warm fish cakes and roasted chestnuts. Aside from ice fishing, other traditional winter games and activities such as kite-flying, top spinning, sledding and jjinbbang-making (steamed bun with red bean filling) will be available.

During lunch, tteokguk (sliced rice cake soup), bingeohoe muchim (seasoned raw smelt salad) and bingeo twigim (deep-fried smelt) are available at the Women's Society of Soomy Land. One special trait of this festival is the offer of an all-inclusive experience package. After making a reservation, families can enjoy a full day of fun experiences from the moment they arrive until the time they head home with no additional fees to worry about.
