Mieum Maeuntang is a freshwater fish specialty restaurant near the Hangang River in Namyangju. Their signature dishes include megi maeuntang, a spicy catfish stew with various vegetables, as well as bungeojjim (braised crucian carp). Baegunbong (alt. 940m) is a sharp pointed peak that sits on the border between Yangpyeong-eup and Okcheon-myeon in Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do Province. It is the highest of the peaks along the southern ridge of Yongmunsan Mountain (alt. 1,157m). The two most popular hiking trails along Baegunbong start at Yeonsu-ri in Yongmun-myeon and offer a relatively short hike to the summit.

Yongmunsa Temple is located about 9 kilometers northeast from Yongmun Station on the Jungang line. It was built during the Silla Kingdom and reconstructed during the reign of King Sejong of the Joseon dynasty. It was badly damaged during the Korean War, but was restored and now consists of three buildings, the main hall, Daeungjeon Hall, and the bell tower. Its courtyard contains the largest ginkgo tree in Asia, which is 1,100 years old, measures 60 meters in x_height and 14 meters in circumference and is designated and protected as a Natural Monument. Legend says the great Buddhist Monk Uisang, who lived during the Silla Kingdom, stuck his staff in the earth, and the tree grew out of the simple staff.

Geomdansan Mountain (alt. 657 m) is one of the major mountains in Hanam. During the Baekje period, it was a sacred mountain where the kings would offer ceremonial services to the gods. From the summit, one can get a great view of Yangsuri, where the Namhangang River and Bukhangang River meet, as well as Hanam, Seoul, Yangpyeong, and Paldangho Lake area.

Due to its proximity to the Seoul Metropolitan Area, it is a popular day trip course. Getting there is easy and the hiking trails, which are not too difficult, are well maintained. From the summit, one can get a great view of Bukhansan Mountain and Dobongsan Mountain in the distance. Hikers can also see Paldang Dam to the east, Yongmasan Mountain to the south, and the Jungbu Expressway to the west.
