Baegam Jeil Sikdang, located near Dae Jang Geum Park, is renowned for its signature dish, sundae gukbap (blood sausage and rice soup). The experience of enjoying their sundae with kimchi and diced radish kimchi, paired with the thick soup cooked in a cauldron, is delightful. The Baegam sundae, believed to have originated in Baegam-myeon, was developed to satisfy the hunger of people visiting the large cattle market there during the Joseon dynasty. It is known for its chewy texture, abundant vegetables, and pork head meat. Nearby attractions such as Everland, the Korean Folk Village, and the Mulhyanggi Arboretum offer additional experiences to enrich your visit to the area.

Ieyoung Contemporary Art Museum opened in June 2001 to showcase artworks that were personally collected by the gallery owners. Upon entering the eco-friendly exhibition space, visitors will be met by works of Korea's famous contemporary artists. In particular, the gallery has the largest collection of works by Park Saeng-gwang, a patriotic painter. In 2004, to mark the 100th anniversary of Park’s birth, the gallery created a foundation with the dual purpose of studying Park and his works and identifying undiscovered interpretation of Korea's tradition.

Youngeun Museum was established in November 2000 in the natural forests of Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do. The museum is largely composed of two sections: an art museum and a studio.
Youngeun Museum is considered a museum of contemporary art as it focuses on the research, preservation, and exhibition of modern art works. It is the first museum of its kind to also operate studio space for artists and has consequently received praise in the art world as a forward-thinking museum.
Thanks to the museum’s focus on creating new works of art, the museum has become a gathering place where artists, writers, critics, and the general public can interact with one another and appreciate the art-making process.
Visitors can engage in various forms of art at the Youngeun Museum, ranging from plastic arts to performing arts. There are also educational programs that allow guests to watch or even experience how art is made. By providing these innovative programs, Youngeun Museum aims to spread art among the masses.
