The Gangam Calligraphy Museum (est. 1995) in Jeonju Hanok Village has on display over 1,000 works from famous artists such as Kim Jeong-hee (1786-1856, calligrapher, painter, & scholar), Lee Sam-man (1770-1847, calligrapher), Kim Hong-do (1745-?, artist), and Jeong Yak-yong (1762-1836, scholar). This museum also houses a seminar room for calligraphy-related events and educational programs.

Gyodong Gaon is a two-story hanok stay on the main street of Jeonju Hanok Village, Jeollabuk-do. The yard contains a small garden, a jangdokdae (jar stand), a furnace and a mural that has become a popular place for photos. The upper floor guestroom Numaru (‘Loft’) offers a panorama of the village. The first floor Meomulda (‘Lodging’) guestroom has a door between bedroom and living room. Yeongjogwan is named after the 21st Joseon king Yeongjo and is in a complex of 11 hanok buildings named for Joseon kings. The hotel is in Wansan-gu, Jeonju, Jeollabuk-do, looking out over Jeonjucheon stream.
