Taehaksan Mountain is located south of the borders of Sucheol-ri, Asan; Samtae-ri, and Maedang-ri in Cheonan. The mountain is known for the Rock-carved Standing Buddha (Treasure No. 407), which displays typical patterns of Buddha statues from the Goryeo era. The mountain gets its name from its shape that resemble a dancing crane. Native flowers and trees are scattered throughout the mountain, and the park's dense pine forest makes this park a great family vacation destination.

Onyang Hot Springs is the oldest hot springs complex in Korea, a place where the kings of Joseon (1392-1897) recuperated and bathed, thanks to its proximity to Seoul. In the 1970s and 1980s, it was a popular honeymoon destination. The water here has a temperature of about 44-60℃ and contains substances that are beneficial for the human body. The National Mang-Hyang Cemetery provides a resting place for the souls of Koreans who resided and passed away in foreign lands. The Korean government built the cemetery in 1976 for compatriots who were forced to leave their beloved homeland under the Japanese colonial rule and ultimately passed away in foreign lands. Sinjeongho Tourist Park was created in 1993 on land spanning 272,000 square meters in the Bangchuk-dong area of Asan City. The park has various attractions including a grass plaza, bird garden, wildflower park, sculpture park, youth facilities, and 8.45 meter-high statue of Admiral Lee Sun-shin. The ecological park at the tourist park entrance is home to a variety of plants such as pine trees and azalea flowers, while the sculpture park attracts visitors in the winter with a large ice sculpture 8 meters wide and 3 meters high. Sinjeongho Lake, located in front of the tourist park, is a popular fishing spot throughout the year and visitors can enjoy a leisurely ride on motor boats or pleasure boats.
