Jangja Lake Park (장자호수공원)

Guri City worked to improve the water quality of Jangja Lake in order to form the Jangja Lake Park and in the process an ecological zone was created. A 3.6 km tree-lined walking trail runs through the park and is frequently used by people enjoying an outing or getting some light exercise. Concerts, exhibitions, and other events are held on the outdoor stage on weekends and the park is widely used as a place to relax by local residents.

Hongjecheon Artificial Waterfall (홍제폭포)

Hongjecheon Artificial Waterfall is located along Hongjecheon Stream in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul. The waterfall was built in 2011 and is 25 meters tall and 60 meters wide. Despite being a man-made waterfall, the design and construction were so well-done that many find it hard to believe it wasn't a naturally formed waterfall. The area around the waterfall features various places for citizens and visitors to relax, while there are many cafes and cultural spaces in the area to make a visit more enjoyable.

Seokparang is a place built by relocating the Sarangchae of Heungseon Daewongun, the father of King Gojong of the Joseon dynasty. Dream Forest (북서울 꿈의숲)

Dream Forest, previously known as Odong Neighborhood Park, is located in Gangbuk-gu, Seoul. The park is surrounded by cherry blossom trees, and the northern section is filled with maple trees, making the park especially attractive in spring and fall. The Changnyeongwigung Ritual House (Registered Cultural Heritage) has been restored with traditional landscaping such as a pond, pavilion and waterfall created nearby to double the genuine beauty of a traditional Korean park. Major attractions of the park include Wolyeongji Pond, Grass Square, Wolgwangpokpo Falls, Aewoljeong Pavilion, Chilbokji Falls, Event Garden, Children’s Gallery, Wild Grass Garden, Deer Ranch, Exploring Path, Forest Rest, and a water park. Gwacheon Wildflower Nature Learning Center (과천야생화자연학습장)

Gwacheon Wildflower Nature Learning Center was opened to provide a place to learn about nature and harmony. The area is 6,900㎡ and has approximately 112 species of wildflowers. The learning center is divided into sections according to the type and use of wildflowers. The learning center also houses a traditional tightrope walking education center. Korean tightrope walking is registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The site offers an educational tightrope walking experience program for those interested.
Samseongsan Holy Ground (삼성산성지)

During the Gihae Persecution of 1839, three French Catholic priests were sentenced to death for spreading Catholicism in Korea. Saint Laurent Joseph Marius Imbert (Bishop), Saint Pierre Philibert Maubant (Priest), and Saint Jacques Honore Chastan (Priest) were beheaded on September 21, 1839 at Saenamteo, currently known as the Saenamteo Catholic Holy Place of the Martyrs, and their bodies were buried at Samseongsan Mountain and later transferred to the grotto of Myeondong Cathedral.
Korean Martyrs' Museum (한국천주교순교자박물관)

Korean Martyrs’ Museum was opened in October of 1967 as Jeoldusan Martyrs' Shrine, in memory of the Catholic martyrs who lost their lives during the Byeongin Persecution of 1866. The name of the museum changed to the current Korean Martyrs' Museum in August 2008. The museum displays artifacts and materials in exhibitions related to the Catholic Bishops' Conference of Korea.
