Mapodaegyo Bridge connects Yonggang-dong, Mapo-gu and Yeouido-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu. The bridge is 1,400 meters long and 25 meters wide (6-lane road), and was the fourth bridge to be built over the Hangang River, following the construction of Hannam Bridge. The construction of the bridge first started in February of 1968 and was completed in May of 1970. At the time of its completion the bridge was named Seouldaegyo Bridge, but was later changed to Mapodaegyo Bridge in 1984.

This Korean bar and restaurant serves Korean dishes with nearly 200 types of traditional Korean liquor on offer, including makgeolli (unrefined rice wine), refined rice wine, and distilled liquor. Its food menu includes bean curd with stir-fried kimchi, ox knee soup (soup made by boiling down calcium-rich ox knee), and cabbage wraps with soy sauce braised pork. Kansong Art Museum was the first private art museum in Korea, opened as Bohwagak in 1938 by Kansong Jeon Hyeong-pil. The name was changed to the current Kansong Art Museum in 1966. Bohwagak was designated as National Registered Cultural Heritage No. 768 on December 30, 2019. Jeon Hyeong-pil dedicated his life to preserving and researching Korea’s representative relics that were devaluated and purposefully obliterated during the Japanese colonial era, as well as to acknowledging their cultural excellence and beauty. The museum houses 11 national treasures and 24 treasures.
