Buramsan Butterfly Garden is located within Buramsan Healing Town in Nowon. It is an exhibition garden where one can observe live butterflies all year round. The main building's first floor comprises an incubation center, a breeding center, and a butterfly greenhouse while the second floor is used as an insect education center. At the insect education center, visiors can observe materials related to and specimens of endangered insect species. Groups require a reservation in advance.

Haengjusanseong Fortress (Historic Site) atop Deogyangsan Mountain was the site of one of the three major Korean victories against the enemy during the Imjin War (1592-1598). Goyang West Three Royal Tombs is a significant historical site comprising three major royal burial grounds in the western area. Huireung Royal Tomb is dedicated to Queen Janggyeong (1491-1515), the consort of King Jungjong during the Joseon dynasty. Hyoreung Royal Tomb is the resting place of King Injong (1515-1545) and his queen, Inseong. Yereung Royal Tomb holds the remains of King Cheoljong (1831-1864) and his queen, Cheorin. This area is home to numerous tombs and relics belonging to various members of the Joseon royal family.
