The street from the Cheongdam Station intersection to Galleria Department Store is lined with luxury brand stores and dubbed as “Cheongdam Fashion Street." Often frequented by celebrities, the area became a popular tourist destination for hallyu fans. Inside the alleys are famous restaurants, and with art galleries and boutiques popping up within the area, the street has gained a reputation as a cultural shopping street.

Daraenamu Tree in Changdeokgung Palace (창덕궁 다래나무)

Daraenamu Tree in Changdeokgung Palace is estimated to be 600 years old, meaning it had likely been planted before the palace was built. The tree stands 19m in x_height, and has six separate trunks sprawling in all directions. It is the biggest and the oldest in Korea. It is designated and protected as a National Natural Monument.

Marronnier Park (마로니에공원)

Marronnier Park was given its name due to the marronnier trees, or horse chestnut trees, growing within the area. The location where Seoul National University's College of Liberal Arts & Science and School of Law once stood, it is now a park dedicated to culture and arts open to the public. Bugaksan Mountain (북악산)

Bugaksan Mountain is the mountain that one can see behind the Gyeongbokgung Palace and the Cheong Wa Dae to the north. Hanyangdoseong, the city wall that surrounded the historic capital of Hanyang, was built by connecting the ridges of this mountain. These walls can still be found today, having been preserved quite well. Different trails weave through the area along the Hanyangdoseong, the Seoul City Wall, and one can visit these trails at night as well. Bugak Skyway is a road that connects Changuimun Gate to Jeongneung Royal Tomb, and one can get a great view of Seoul’s city center from the Palgakjeong Pavilion on Bugak Skyway.

The Seolleung and Jeongneung Royal Tombs History Center details the historical significance of the tomb, while the complex also serves as a park within the city.

Waterworks Museum (수도박물관)
