Sinyang Seopji Beach is not yet a popular tourist attraction, leaving the fine-grained, sandy beach relatively untouched. Thanks to its quiet atmosphere, the beach gives visitors a calmer, more secluded beach experience than some of the larger beaches on Jeju.

The 80-meter-wide, crescent-shaped beach stretches for a total length of 300 meters. Bordered by waters that are only an average of one meter deep, the beach gently slopes at a five degree angle. Known for its small waves, the beach is the perfect spot for children.

Windsurfing is available nearby and popular tourist attractions such as Seongsan Ilchulbong Tuff Cone and Seopjikoji are located in the area.

This fish tank facility is twice the size than that of Aqua Planet Yeosu, and over three times larger than that of Seoul COEX Aquarium and Busan Sea Life. What makes this aquarium event more special is the Jeju haenyeo (female divers) diving performance, which is only available in Aqua Planet Jeju.

Blaze Resort is a private pension in Pyoseon-myeon, Jeju. It stands on Noksang-ro, a road which is famous for its beautiful springtime display of canola flowers and cherry blossom. The nearby forest trail, doldam dry stone walls, and local oreum (low volcanic hill) make picturesque photo backdrops, and are often used for wedding photo-shoots. Rooms in the pension range from 2-person to 4-person, so groups can be accommodated. There are also swings, slides and flower garden trails around the pension, a restaurant for group meals, and a large auditorium.

Gwangchigi Beach (광치기해변)

Located on the way from Seongsan Ilchulbong Tuff Cone to Seopjikoji, Gwangchigi Beach marks the end point of Jeju Olle Trail Route 1 and the starting point of Route 2. It is known for its unique geological formation, where hot lava cools down immediately upon meeting the sea. During low tides, visitors can see hidden scenic spots. The frozen lava covered with green moss, creates a spectacular view. In particular, the stunning sunrise view with Seongsan Ilchulbong Tuff Cone in the backdrop attracts a lot of visitors. Located in Seogwipo, Jeju Camellia Village has a 300-year history with its native camellia trees, and is involved in various projects. Visitors can explore the 300-400-year-old camellia trees scattered throughout the village, purchase authentic camellia oil from the community-operated mill, and participate in various experience programs such as camellia soap-making and cooking classes using camellia oil. From October to March, visitors can also purchase tangerines, locally produced by the village residents. The local community is dedicated to preserving the camellia forest for future generations, offering visitors a chance to experience the village’s beauty.

Goseong Fifth-day Market is located in Goseong-ri near Seongsanilchulbong Peak. The market started in its current location in 1984, serving residents in the local areas, creating a small rustic vibe unlike what is found at larger urban markets. Markets are held on the 4th and 9th of every month, and there is everything from fish caught in Seongsan to meat, vegetables, clothing, and miscellaneous goods.

Yongnunioreum Volcanic Cone is located in the eastern part of Jeju. It connects three craters and creates beautiful ridges. Its relatively low x_height makes reaching its summit easy. The top offers panoramic views of Seongsan Ilchulbong Tuff Cone and Udo Island in the distance. In spring and summer, the area is covered with green grass, while silver grass takes over in fall and winter.

Jeju Horse Park (조랑말체험공원)

Jeju Horse Park offers a venue to promote Jeju’s horse culture in an easy and fun way. The park has kept intact the 600-year history of nomadic culture at the site of Gasi-ri Village which used to house Gammajang, the place for raising the best horses during the Joseon dynasty. The park includes the Jeju Horse Museum, Ttarabi horseback riding track, Maeum Cafe, Mongol Yurt Guesthouse, camping site, Art Shop, and an experience place to focus on the Project for a New Cultural Space Creation through the support of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs. The Jeju Horse Museum was the first national museum created by a village and its main theme covers the history and culture of the village. It is also regarded as a new form of community business model.
