Sehwa Fifth-day Market is one of the largest of its kind in eastern Jeju. Being a fifth-day market, it only opens on days ending in 5 or 0. It is at its busiest before noon, with many stores closing their doors by 14:00. This market offers an interesting glimpse into the lives of Jeju locals with its dazzling array of Jeju’s pride, seafood, along with stalls offering lifestyle goods, food, and side dishes. Don’t miss the Manna Sikdang here: This joint is famous for its tteokbokki, stir-fried rice cake, one of the most beloved snack dishes in Korea. There are other places offering snack fare near Manna Sikdang, so visitors are recommended to drop by and sample some Korean favorites. Note that Sehwa Fifth-day Market is situated to the left of Sehwahaebyeon Beach, so one can easily visit the two when in the area.

Located on the way from Seongsan Ilchulbong Tuff Cone to Seopjikoji, Gwangchigi Beach marks the end point of Jeju Olle Trail Route 1 and the starting point of Route 2. Bellongjang Market is a local flea market open to visitors and the local community that takes place in the small village of Sehwa-ri. The flea market takes place on Saturdays from 11:00 to 13:00, except on the 5th,10th,15th, 20th, 25th and 30th of the month, when the Fifth-Day Market opens. Bellongjang's name originated from Jeju Island's expression "bellong," which means a light shining from the distance.

Yongcheondonggul Cave is the most typical form of lava tunnel on Jeju Island and with a total length of approximately 2,470 meters, it is one of the largest. It has a unique topology and rich limestone formations such as lava terrace, lava shelves, lava waterfalls, and 140 meters of lava rolls. In particular, a range of carbonate formations such as straw soda, stalactite, columns, flowstones, cave corals, and aragonite crystals can be found inside this large cave that also contains a lake. This unique cave is astounding in terms of its geological value and beauty. There are also items that can be found throughout the cave that appear to have been brought in by people who lived on the island long ago, such as pieces of pottery, animal bones, ironware, charcoal and other substances.

Myeongjin Jeonbok specializes in fresh abalone dishes, using abalones sourced directly from its adjoining farm. The menu features a variety of offerings including jeonbok gui (grilled abalone), jeonbokjuk (abalone porridge), jeonbokhoe (sliced raw abalone), and jeonbok dolsotbap (abalone hot stone pot rice). Ther restaurant's signature dish is the jeonbok dolsotbap (abalone hot stone pot rice), a savory hot stone pot rice topped with abalone, pumpkin, and sweet potatoes. Jewon Haneul (제원 하늘농원)

Jewon Haneul, spanning 26,046 square meters, has open fields and greenhouse facilities for tangerines. It is certified by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Rural Affairs for non-pesticide farming, Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), and low-carbon practices. The farm grows various citrus fruits throughout the year. Green tangerines are harvested from August to September, field-grown tangerines in October, and Hwanggeumhyang, Redhyang, and Cheonhyehyang varieties from December to February. From the end of April until early May, the farm is adorned with tangerine flowers. It operates various food therapy programs, such as making tangerine marmalade, tangerine cakes, green tangerine syrup, and summer tangerine syrup, depending on the season. In addition, it provides sound therapy programs like singing bowl meditation in the tangerine orchard and making glass wind chimes attached with a wish tag. As such, the farm has become a space for relaxation and rest for those with exhausted minds and bodies.
