Unlike most streams on Jeju Island that can easily run dry, Gangjeongcheon Stream, located to the east of Gangjeong Village in Seogwipo-si, flows with clear water all year round. The stream stretches 16 kilometers in length and has 7 small ponds, 6 bridges and 13 waterfalls. The old pine trees and uniquely formed rocks and stones on either side of the stream make for great natural sightseeing.

The stream is home to sweetfish and groups of mandarin ducks, which are Natural Monument. During summer, the stream is crowded with vacationers thanks to the clean water and relaxing environment.

Held in Hueree Natural Park at the foot of Hallasan Mountain on Jeju Island, Hueree Maehwa Festival is held every spring when the air is filled with the scent of plum flowers. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful plum flower fields at Hueree Natural Park. Photo zones are set up throughout the field, and visitors can also see black pig and peacocks in the park.

The 5.16 Road is the first national highway of Jeju and connects the cities of Jeju and Seogwipo. Drive the winding road toward Seogwipo to the points about 2.6 to 1.2 kilometers at a distance from Hallasan Seongpanak Rest Area to reach a tree tunnel shaped like an arch made with evergreen trees and deciduous trees. At the northern entrance to the tree tunnel, there is a sign reading, “The road is more beautiful if you drive slowly.” The road here is narrow and has many curves, causing a risk of accidents, so drivers should be careful. Another reason to slow down while driving on this road is to appreciate the surrounding scenery.
Located at the foot of Hallasan Mountain, the road provides various aspects of nature throughout the four seasons. Trees that extend out from both sides of the road and are bent as if embracing the sky provide cool shade in the summer, red leaves in the fall, and dazzling snow scenes in the winter. The 5.16 Tree Tunnel presents picturesque four seasons of Jeju.

Jeju Yakcheonsa Temple is the largest temple in Asia. Originally a small hermitage named Yaksuam, it was named Yakcheonsa because of a famous mineral spring  ('Yaksu') nearby. It enshrines tombstones of two royal couples from the Joseon Dynasty: King Munjong and his consort, and King Yeongchin and his consort. The temple also offers temple stays for both Koreans and foreigners.

Jungmun Equestrian Park is where visitors can experience horseback riding while looking at the sea, and even beginners can enjoy horseback riding without any concerns. Visitors can choose between a walking course that takes 10–15 minutes and a Beach Olle course that takes 20–25 minutes. The Beach Olle course has a beautiful ocean view and reaches its peak in spring when canola flowers are in full bloom. It is operated under a reservation system in principle, but walk-in is also accepted on a first-come,first-served basis. Visitors are advised to call in advance as programs are subject to cancellation in case of adverse weather.

Baengnokdam is a crater lake that sits on top of Hallasan Mountain at the center of Jeju Island. It spans 3 kilometers in circumference and 500 meters in diameter, and is surrounded by approximately 360 parasitic cones. At the peak, visitors can feel like floating on clouds.
