Jeju Island is where the cherry blossoms bloom the earliest in Korea. Jeju is also renowned for its native king cherry blossoms that can be seen all over the island. The Jeju Cherry Blossom Festival takes place every year to celebrate the beauty of the island's king cherry blossoms. The petals of king cherry blossoms are the largest and most luxurious among all cherry blossoms. The peak of the king cherry blossoms lasts for only 2 to 3 days, but the beautiful blossoms can be seen for weeks, from late March to the second week of April depending on the region.

The port, downstream from Sanjicheon Stream, is renowned for picturesque views of fishing boats, egrets, and seagulls. Haejin Hoetjip is a restaurant located on the breakwater of the western pier at Jeju Port. Its signature dish is gumunjaengi (also known as neungseongeo or sea bass), a delicacy unique to Jeju. In addition to this, the restaurant offers a variety of fresh hoe (sliced raw fish) including chamdom (sea bream) and dageumbari (sawedged perch).
