Seosan Chrysanthemum Festival takes place in October at the area of Gobuk-myeon, Gagu-ri in Seosan, Chungcheongnam-do. This festival offers chrysanthemum exhibitions inside of an apple orchard, featuring various colors of chrysanthemum in full bloom as well as a mountain of apples, photo zone, and other events to fill the festival grounds with the scent of autumn.

With the slogan “Falling for the Color, Savoring the Taste,” the festival features red agricultural products as the main attractions. The event includes food-related experiences, various performances, apple harvesting experiences, and the Hanu Bale Carrying Contest.

The Hwacheon Tomato Festival is held annually over four consecutive days in August in the area of Culture Village in Sanae-myeon, Hwacheon-gun. Starting off with a pre-event on the eve of the opening, it is followed by various exhibitions, hands-on programs, performances including tables with seating for one thousand people, finding a tomato gold ring, let’s play with tomato, tomato summer festival, tomato soccer, children’s swimming pool, and other varied programs related to tomatoes. The Daegu Chimac Festival is Daegu’s signature summer festival and Korea’s largest food-and-drink event celebrating the much-loved pairing of chicken and beer. Since its launch in 2013, it has grown steadily, now drawing one million visitors and helping boost the local economy while raising Daegu’s profile as a global destination. Selected in 2026 for Korea’s Local 100 list and as a Preliminary Global Festival, this year’s event will run from July 1 to 5 in and around Duryu Park. Beyond chicken and beer, the festival offers a full lineup of performances, exhibitions, hands-on programs, and promotional booths. The main venue, 2.28 Freedom Square, will be transformed into a water concert zone where water play meets electronic music, with a new 360-degree central stage added this year. Across the festival grounds, visitors can explore themed zones such as Daefrica Waterpia, Chimac Sing-along Club, and Chisangnakwon EGG Island. Artist-designed installations and photo zones will bring even more energy to the festival grounds.

Cheongwansan Eulalia Festival takes place between mid-September and mid-October when the fields turn white or gray with sunlight. The best time of the day to take in the beauty of the eulalia field is before nine in the morning and after five in the afternoon. The view of eulalia waves in the breeze at Cheongwansan Mountain is a sight to be seen.
