Visitors can taste sea cucumbers, sea pineapples, and conch at the Haenyeo's House restaurant run by the haenyeo. The schedule changes depending on the season and weather conditions.

The museum features two exhibition floors, showcasing traditional Japanese furniture and accessories such as butsudan and kotatsu. Additionally, a traditional kitchen and toilet have been meticulously recreated. Visitors can gain a vivid understanding of the lifestyle during that era and explore the distinctive structural elements of Japanese-style buildings.

The Battle of Myeongnyang Memorial is located next to the narrow strait called Uldolmok, between Haenam and Jindo. Uldolmok is the site where Admiral Yi Sunsin, under his command, defeated over 300 Japanese warships with only 13 Korean ships during the Japanese Invasion of Korea in 1592 (1592-1598). The exhibition hall commemorates the Myeongnyang Battle and displays weapons used during the Japanese Invasion of Korea in 1592. Visitors can also observe the turbulent currents of Uldolmok from the skywalk.
